NATO SCHOOL - GENERAL INFORMATION


APPLICATION

The total number of ASI students will be limited to 85. The ASI students will be selected by the Organizing Committee on the basis of their qualifications, their potential contribution to the meeting, and the benefit that they may draw from the meeting for their future activities. Anyone who wishes to attend should apply by sending a paragraph describing current activities and a maximum three pages long résumé to Dr. Gábor Dibó by mail (Institute of Chemistry, Eötvös Loránd University, H-1518 Budapest 112, P.O. Box 32, Hungary), fax (36-1-209-0602) or E-mail (natoasi@szerves.chem.elte.hu). The deadline for application is April 15, 1998.

 

TRAVEL AND LIVING EXPENSES FOR ASI STUDENTS

Contribution to the travel and living expenses of ASI students from NATO countries (Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States) and NATO's Partner countries (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrghyz Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Tajikistan, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan) is available from a NATO grant.

Reimbursement of travel expenses will be based on the most economical fares and means of transportation.

ASI students from non-NATO and non-Partner countries as well as for those employed by industrial and/or commercial organizations are not eligible to receive funds from the NATO grant.

 

REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee for ASI students from non-NATO and non-Cooperation Partner countries as well as for those employed by industrial and/or commercial organizations is US$ 300.00. The registration fee includes access to all ASI activities and a copy of the lecture notes.
